Read the personal story behind UrnMyPet, how it all started with Diego, and why every pet deserves a dignified farewell.
DiegoUrnMyPet was born from something deeply personal. When I, Merlijn, lost my dog, I realised how hard it is to find a way to truly hold on to the memories you made together.
Making the urnsMost options felt cold and impersonal, so I wanted to create something new. I got to work and designed a modern urn with a QR code for my dog Diego. I linked it to an online space so we could always revisit our favourite memories of him.
Diego's keepsakeDiego now has a beautiful spot in our home. Family, friends, or of course we ourselves, can easily bring up our best memories, without having to store photos and videos everywhere, pass phones around, or having nothing to show at all.

MerlijnI wanted something that felt warm. Something that tells a story. Something you can look at and instantly feel that connection again.
